In-clinic and remote learning

All new BTE systems come with training courses to help your clinic get the most out of your equipment. Your BTE representative will install the new system and provide basic instructions in your clinic.

After the installation, your staff are invited to our training facility in Hanover, Maryland for a two-day, in-person training course. We still offer virtual-only training for your staff – use this form to schedule your virtual training.

Our two-day, in-person training is now open for all US-based BTE customers. We paused during the COVID-19 pandemic and used that time to renovate our classroom. See below for detailed information about in-person training.

Flight details
Do not book flights until you receive confirmation from BTE. We recommend arriving at BWI the night before training. Return flights should leave at 6pm or later on the second day.

Shuttle provided to and from airport, hotel, and training.

*Meals
Catered lunch provided during training. Complimentary dinner at local Baltimore restaurant on first night.
Lodging
BTE covers one hotel room for two nights under the first year warranty. The hotel rooms are double occupancy, so most facilities send two colleagues who can room together. Additional rooms will be booked at the customer’s expense.

Available training courses

  • Simulator II: October 3-4, 2024. Register by September 13. 
  • PrimusRS: October 10-11, 2024. Registration is now closed BUT we are accepting sign-ups for the waiting list.
  • EvalTech and Prism with Lumen software: October 24-25. Register by October 4.

Advanced Evaluation Courses

We offer advanced courses that explore applications beyond the basic training for EvalTech and Prism. Participants must be licensed / registered / certified clinical professionals and must pass a competency test with 85% or higher. These tests ensure a baseline knowledge of the systems needed to proceed.
